2018 Egypt Cairo ICT Exhibition

 

 

EJE took part in 2018 Egypt Cairo ICT Exhibition, 25th-28th, Nov. It's the leading international ICT trade fair and forum for the Middle East and Africa, held under his auspices at Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) under the slogan: Driving Transformation.

Nearly 520 international, local and emerging companies participated in Cairo ICT 2018.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister H.E.  Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Communication and Information Technology H.E. Amr Talaat, Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform , Minister of Investment & International Cooperation, Minister of Social Solidarity, Minister of Defense, Minister of Military Production, Minister of Social Solidarity, Minister of Interior, Minister of Finance, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Minister of Trade and Industry, Minister of Local Development, Academics, Business leaders  and senior statesmen.

The President inspected the exhibition pavilions representing the Egyptian government agencies such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Military Production, Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Technical Education, Egypt National Post Organization (ENPO), and the National Anti-Corruption Academy. He also visited the  private sector exhibiting  companies, including mobile networks operators and fiber optic manufacturing companies.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat delivered a speech, in which he showcased the Egyptian government experience in developing the ICT sector. He also reviewed the fields of cooperation and exchange of experiences with a number of regional and international entities, stating that Cairo ICT has become attractive to many experts, entrepreneurs and investors in different technology sectors in the region and the world.
